What do you think? Which were your favorite posts from 2008? What would you like to see in 2009?

Mr. RC: Since I wasn’t around here for most of theses posts it was nice to see them for the first time. I have found your blog both entertaining and informative. I don’t have a clue what to tell you to improve or what to add to your blog, if I did I would use them on my blog…hahaha
I liked the Road Captain post since I can relate. While I don’t have the patch, whenever my friends and I go riding I always end up on point. I’ve led big groups long distances and small groups on short rides and every combination in between. The thing I have to work on is keeping my eyes in the back of my head open better. I made a bad choice and put my group in a bad condition in a construction area. Just a few miles down the road did I find a better spot to get the group off the rode to put on helmets and other gear. This construction zone came up on me completely by surprise on a packed fast moving interstate reduced to one lane and no shoulder. It happen two years ago and I’ve never forgot what I learned that day. I couldn’t stop apologizing to my friends for the danger I had put them in that day. Needless to say I felt really bad about it.
Anyways, enjoy the blog and look forward to reading more of what you have to say.

Fasthair, I’m glad to hair that you take leading very seriously and that what may seem like a small mistake to most in your mind was a big error and that you learned from it and used it to make yourself a better lead on future rides. I do that all the time and am glad to know I am not alone. You also confirm that one does not need to have a patch to be a real Road Captain. Your comment that our blog is both informative and entertaining means a lot because that is our goal. Thank you.
RC: I love your blog. Some of the info is stuff I can’t use yet, but that’s ok…I’m learning a lot from you. Thanks for the great year of blogging!
You’re welcome Ann. Glad you like it!
Congratulations on your first year.
Your post about your old money-pit Sportster inspired me to start my blog, and it’s been a great year for both of us I think.
Keep up the good work, and best wishes for an even better 2009.
